“It’s the most wonderful time of the year...” is not only one my favorite Christmas songs; but an apt description of this Holiday Season! What’s not to love? It’s a season of giving. Families spend time together. Kids are behaving (think gifts). Time off from work. Lights. The smell of foods that only make an appearance during this season. The hope and promise of a new year around the corner. It truly is a wonderful time of the year!

One of the very best things about this Holiday Season is the gratitude that should fill our hearts as we look back and reflect on the blessings and provision of our Creator! While the last few years have been challenging and extraordinary (not necessarily in a good way!); the truth is that as we look back, we can see that God has been in control and has been ordering our steps throughout the year!

Make this Holiday Season even more wonderful; by focusing on what we have been given and the goodness of the Lord, rather than any lack in our lives. While many people might have more stuff than we do, we have a wonderful Savior and Jehovah Jireh who has blessed us more than we deserve!
