UNPOPULAR

For most people, Thanksgiving and Christmas are considered the most popular or favorite holidays in the United States. According to a survey conducted in 2021, Thanksgiving had a popularity rating of 81 percent, followed by Christmas with 77 percent. Easter didn’t even crack the top ten!

If you’d ask me what my favorite holiday would be, it would be Easter or also known as: Resurrection Sunday! There’s no way you mix that up with a bunny but I digress. It may not be the most popular holiday but it certainly is the most solemn. It’s a spiritual reflection of where The LORD has brought me from. A personal reminder that there is no greater love! That the Creator of the universe would robe himself in flesh, “..humble himself, become obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” (Phil. 2:8) I am convinced that if this world could grasp the true meaning of Easter, what was once considered “Unpopular” would then become Your Savior!

In this month of Revival, may we gain all that we need to help the lost, hurting and the broken. Changing one perspective at a time!
