Today’s world is full of turmoil. The COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the entire planet. As of today, there have been 58.5 million reported cases and 1.39 million deaths globally (12.3 Million and 257,000 respectfully in the U.S). We have lockdowns in almost every country on the planet. Governments are doing their best to keep things at bay but it’s not working. Many of these measures have kept God’s children from going to the House of God to Worship.

We just had our Presidential elections and that entire process is a total mess. There is a new controversy every single day. We have unrest taking place in cities all across this land. We even had at least one group that was planning on kidnapping a State Governor and publicly executing her on live TV. The suicide and domestic violence rates have skyrocketed. The number of people filing for unemployment has probably never been higher. The devil is fighting us with everything he has. I could go on and on but I won’t.

Now is the time like no other that we as children of the God must keep our faith in our God. That’s because our hope is not in man. It’s in God almighty. God promised He would always be with us and would never forsake us (Heb 13:5). Col 3:15 says “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts.” The Holy Ghost was promised to us as our comforter (John 14:16). The peace that the Holy Ghost gives us can’t be matched. Our God is our Peace in the storm. Jesus said in John 16:33 “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. Our God is “The Prince of Peace”. God isn’t surprised by all this turmoil; His word foretells it.

God’s church and His people have always overcome and always will. That’s because our God is on our side, or rather we are on His side. God is still in charge and still sits on the throne. God’s Word is reaching so many more lost souls now than it has ever reached even in this troubled time in history. We are in the last of the last days before His return. There has never been a better time to trust in our God. His plan is perfect and His timeline is right on schedule.

So, let’s not let our hearts be troubled and let us not be worried. Our God is with us. We must keep the faith. We have read the end of the book and it says “We Win” if we remain faithful to our God. Mark 13:3 says “but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved”. I’m so glad I know I can trust in Him and that He will always be there in every storm. I’m also so grateful for the Peace of God’s Spirit, I pray you are as well.

Romans 15:13 “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost”.

Philippines 4:7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.
