In today’s busy world there are a lot of things that occupy peoples time. Things like jobs, school, bills, vacations to plan, and so on. But recently everyone has something new to occupy their time and thoughts: COVID-19. Almost everyone is scared out of their mind over this terrible disease. While we should be concerned about this deadly disease, we can’t let it destroy our life. This disease is keeping us from gathering together to worship our God as Hebrews 10:25 tells us to do. What are we as the children of God to do?

Well, I heard two different messages this week about worshipping our God in our own homes. One was by Pastor Raymond Woodward and the other by Brother Jason Bohannon. Both of these men of God preached that we must do as they did in bible times. They gathered together in their own homes and worshiped their God. See Jesus told us in Matt 18:20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” The world can stop us from gathering together in one place but they can’t stop us from worshipping our God. He is with us no matter where we are.

Remember what Pastor just preached, perilous times will come. However, we as God’s children have His promise, Deut 31:6 says “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” We will go through trials in life, but we can and must trust in God. In other words, we have to have faith that our God has us in His hands no matter what comes at us and that includes COVID-19.

I don’t want to see any child of God get this disease. However, as Pastor Nathaniel Haney just preached, if that is what God decides to do then we must continue to trust and worship Him. We know all the turmoil and troubles and even things like this COVID-19 pandemic are all signs of our Lord’s soon return. We must not be afraid; we have to just trust our God. Remember what Luke 21:26-28 says “Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” So, fear not and remember this saying “God has it covered”!

Pacific Coast Camp & Junior Camp
Pacific Coast Camp (PCC) is an Apostolic summer youth camp for the whole family. It is held each June on the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California.

PCC is the vision of a group of concerned Apostolic pastors to promote spiritual growth and maturity for the entire family. Camp activities are designed to address the needs of young people, ages 7-25 that have never been married and have no children.

Please join us this year, June 17-22, 2018, at the Ventura County Fairgrounds for another great Camp. The Camp evening evangelists will be Jonathon Alvear, from Conyers, GA. The day evangelists will be Ron Garrett, Glendale, AZ. We are looking forward to PCC 2019!

PACIFIC COAST CAMP operates as a youth and family camp meeting combination.
The youth camp is open to young people between the ages of 7 – 25 years, single, never married, no children. It will operate as customary: campers will be placed in groups according to their ages. Each youth attending the camp will lodge in the facilities provided. Other arrangements may be made if deemed necessary by the camper’s pastor. These arrangements should be communicated by the pastor to the camp principal, and the camp principal will make the final determination.

For youth campers, meals are included in registration fee.

Private portable showers will be provided for everyone lodging on campus.

The pastor, assistant pastor or a minister approved by the pastor from the local church needs to be present at camp for any young people from that church to be in attendance.

Those outside the youth camp age (parents, small children and others) may stay on-site in tents or RVs, or in nearby hotels.

Non-campers may purchase meals for $60.00 (fifteen meals).
